When an Envato discount is real (and when to ignore the banner)
Seasonal sales vs. fake urgency. Buy on the calendar, not on the countdown widget.
Envato runs real seasonal sales (around Black Friday, anniversary, mid-year). The discount page is the official list — not a random “80% off” interstitial from a blog.
If you already need the item this week, a 10–20% code is a rounding error next to the hours you will spend implementing it. Do not stall a client launch for a coupon. If the purchase is speculative (“I might use this later”), wait for a named sale or do not buy.
Author coupons exist on some item pages. Stacking is rare. Read the checkout line: one discount, one license, one support window. A sale does not extend support unless the policy says so.
Bookmark the official deals hop. Ignore clone sites that wrap Envato URLs in extra redirects. Extra hops are how tracking — and sometimes your session — gets lost.
