Skincare: a sink-sized routine
Cleanse, treat, protect. Everything else is merchandising.
If it does not fit on the edge of a sink, it is inventory. A routine that needs a tray is a store, not a face.
Order: cleanse, one treatment (acid or retinoid, not both the first month), moisturizer if you need it, SPF in daylight. Fragrance is optional and often the irritant.
Kill-filter on a new bottle: INCI you can parse, a size you will finish in 90 days, no “clinical” claim without a study you can open. Influencer kits are samplers with a story.
US and APAC shelves differ (SPF textures, humidity). Buy for your climate, not the unboxing.
Beauty hops appear when networks approve. Until then, use the filter on any checkout. Some other pages on this site are affiliate (#ad).
